Fabric Kits
Give simple supplies that lead to a useful, marketable skill.
The Global Missions Team is at Lord of Life is collecting fabric kits for Lutheran World Relief this Lenten season to provide fabric and thread for vocational sewing programs and for newly trained tailors to launch their sewing businesses thus helping men and women earn a reliable income.
Each kit must contain a new 3 yard long piece of 44’ cotton/cotton blend fabric with no symbols and a 250-300 yard spool of neutral, all purpose thread.
Items are due to the church by Easter Sunday, April 4th.
If you don’t have experience buying fabric and thread, here are some options:
1) Contribute online via Realm for our shoppers to purchase on your behalf
2) Order at least one of these two items online from Wal-Mart. You can drop in the Welcome Center or ship directly to Jenny McKenna at church, 3801 S Panther Creek, The Woodlands, TX 777381

3) Shop in person at Joanne’s, Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart, etc, choose a cotton fabric, and ask for them to cut it 3 yard long piece of 44’ cotton/cotton blend fabric with no symbols.
